Affiliate Programs Can Skyrocket Your Income!

In business, can anything be better than exceeding
your personal sales goals each year? Or maybe you'd
like to quadruple your monthly sales goal? Well,
this is the kind of thing that an affiliate program
can do for you! The bottom line is that the amount of
growth potential thru having an affiliate program is
litterally unlimited. In fact, the more affiliates you
have the more money you can make.

In order to attract affiliates to your Internet-based
company you need to make it worth their time. In other
words, offering low commissions, such as one percent of
sales, is not an attractive offer. In fact, the higher the
commission that you are able to offer your affiliates the
more tempted they will be to sell your products. You should
also make it a point to provide your affiliates with the
tools that they will need to market your product(s), such
as providing professional banner ads, articles, and other
things that will assist them. It is also beneficial to
provide your affiliates with updated product information
through newsletters, effective promotional campaigns and
other things to help motivate and inform them about your
product(s).

There are two main types of affiliate models in use on the
Internet, and either one can be of benefit to your company.
The "one-tier" affiliate programs let you offer a larger
commission and pay only on one level. The popular "two
tier" affiliate programs pay affiliates on two different
levels. This benefits you because your affiliates can now
actively recruit other affiliates. This is because they
will receive a commission for each sale that the sub
affiliate makes. (You, of course, determine what amount
commissions are to be paid at each level).

You can also set up the affiliate program in two different
ways. The first way way is to do it yourself through an
affiliate tracking software. This software allows you to
track affiliate sales as well as allow the affiliates to
check their progress on a real-time basis. The negative
aspect of this option is that you are responsible for
making payments. Alternatively, you may choose to hire an
affiliate tracking company to do all the work for you.
These companies will allow the use of credit cards and
completely run the affiliate program, to include billing
the customers, paying the affiliates, and also even pay
you! (This is a great option for the busy business owner
and it is pretty affordable since most affiliate tracking
companies charge a relatively small one-time fee.)

Finally, if you are a small one-person internet business
you may be able to get by from using a site like Clickbank.
For about $50 you can arrange to sell your digital products
through them and they will collect the money from each sale
and pay you and your affiliates by check. However you
decide to approach this, I recommend that you look into
offering an affiliate program and experience the amount of
increased sales that many business owners enjoy.
